At St. John's, boys learn courtesy, tolerance and understanding of everyone in the community. They are encouraged to develop confidence, self-esteem and a proper concern for others.

The Class Teacher watches over each boy's happiness and progress and because our pupils are individuals with individual needs, we constantly liaise with parents. There are regular written reports and parents' evenings and staff are always available to discuss each boy's progress. School examinations take place twice a year.
Although originally a Church of England Foundation, all faiths and denominations are welcome at St. John's.
