
The Head of English will be directly responsible for the teaching of English in Years 5-8 and for preparing boys for the entrance examinations for local independent and state secondary schools at 11+ and 13+. The successful candidate will have responsibility for the delivery of the English curriculum to all boys in Years 3-8 as well as in the Pre-Preparatory Department (Reception – Year 2). We are seeking to appoint an energetic, experienced and inspirational teacher to motivate our pupils and staff and to promote 'literacy across the curriculum'.
