Art at St. John's

Art and craft is taught to all year groups at St Johns.

From Reception through to Year 2 it is taught as part of topic based work by the class teacher.

During Years 3 to 8 it is taught as a specialist subject in an art teaching studio.

The boys cover a broad Art and Design curriculum that includes painting and drawing, print making, model making and sculpture.

There is an emphasis on 3D work in years 3 through to 5 with plaster, clay and papier mache masks and models.
