The School Day

As St. John's boys range in age from 3 to 13 years old, their school day changes as they move up through the school.

To keep the carpark / playground moving we have staggered starting times from 8.25 a.m. onwards for the Nursery, Pre-Prep and Prep.

As boys move up through the school their day ends later - 2.50 p.m. in the Nursery, 3.00 p.m. in the Pre-Prep and 4.00 p.m. in the Prep with many boys staying on later for after school activities.

Breakfast Club and After School Care

Breakfast Club and After School Care are provided by an organisation run by Mrs Heywood. They are available between 7.30 a.m. and 8.25 a.m. and from 3.15 p.m. until 6.00 p.m. daily. All boys in the school are registered in case of emergency pick up problems or delays.

Boys from Nursery, Pre-Prep and Prep can attend. The older boys are able to do their homework under supervision.
