Two years ago the end of the summer term overnight camp out was started with the sixth form and the next year it was extended to the fifth form. Here are Richard Moore, Robert Kerr and Vailan Tam beginning to make sense of their tent. These tents were donated to the school last year by the St. John's Association.
As well as camping out, the boys cook their own meals on small camp stoves. Here Mr Bond and Mr Hunter are doing the "responsible adult" stuff with the meths for Richard Mendoza and William Wallace.
By the look of it, Richard Moore, Vailan Tam and Calum Galvin are going to be dining on frankfurters and pot noodles.
Not having all that much faith in their own or their friends' culinary skills, most sensible chaps follow William Wallace's example and bring along a few packets of this and that to fill in the gaps.
