The weather, mercifully and unusually for this particular June, held fine for June 15th. As can be seen from this pair of photos the format of the day was fairly simple: drink, eat and talk.

At the end of the lunch came the only really formal part of the day - the presentation of the Mark Jones Award to its first recipient. Mr Kelly spoke briefly on Mark's dedication to sport, teaching and St. John's and what an outstanding coach of rugby and cricket he was, producing teams of a consistently high standard, able to compete successfully at a level considerably above the norm for a school of our type.
