Cricket

In Year 3 boys play ‘kwik cricket’ which enables them to acquire the basic skills. After two years of playing with a soft ball, in Year 5 the boys start playing eleven-a-side fixtures against other Schools. We run eleven teams, playing sixty fixtures, providing matches for one hundred and fifty boys. In addition to our three cricket grounds, we have all-weather cricket nets and an artificial turf pitch.

In April 2010, sixteen of our best senior cricketers played five matches on their cricket tour to Grenada in the West Indies. On their return they enjoyed an outstanding season, winning all their matches.
