Other sports

During the winter our enthusiastic runners train weekly in our cross country and mini running clubs. Our best runners compete at a number of meetings each year.

Our House Basketball competitions are always hotly contested, our best players play a number of fixtures against local schools.

Boys also enjoy playing badminton and table tennis regularly in the winter months.

In the Summer, as well as athletics and cricket, boys represent the School at tennis. A large number of boys are able to play recreationally on our six courts.

A new Pitch and Putt Golf Course will enable us to introduce the game to a high proportion of our pupils. Our best players represent the School in the National Preparatory Schools’ Competition ‘The Stowe Putter’. This year, two of our best golfers, Oliver and Harry Baker, were third in their respective age groups.
