We were delighted to welcome back Sarah Calcutt, CEO of City Harvest, to present her with a cheque for an incredible £5,055.83.
The funds raised by pupils will help City Harvest deliver more than 15,000 meals to people across London who might otherwise go hungry. The charity rescues surplus food and redistributes it to organisations supporting vulnerable communities, making every donation go a long way in tackling food poverty.
The fundraising total is the result of the generosity, creativity, and commitment of the St John’s community throughout the year. From events and initiatives to individual contributions, every effort combined to make a meaningful impact.
“This is something we can all be proud of,” said Mr Jenkin, Headmaster. “Our fundraising not only supports a vital cause but also reminds us of the power of community when we come together to help others.”
A huge congratulations goes to everyone who played a part in this achievement. Together, we’ve helped make London a fairer and kinder city.
