Wrap Around Care

St John’s Clubhouse wrap around care, is proudly run in-house under the school’s direct management. With familiar staff, clear routines and a focus on childrens’ wellbeing, we’re excited to offer a safe, happy start and finish to every school day.

Children are looked after in a dedicated space located on the ground floor of the Science Block on the school site. The facility includes a full kitchen and modern toilet facilities, and provides a safe, comfortable environment for before and after-school care.

Termly sessions can be booked in advance for Clubhouse Mornings and Clubhouse Tea. There is also the option for ad hoc bookings including on the day, subject to availability and appropriate staffing ratios.

Clubhouse Adventures offers a relaxed activity filled holiday camp during selected weeks of the school holidays. Children enjoy a range of activities, games and creative play with the experienced Clubhouse team.

  • Clubhouse Breakfast for a fun, healthy start to the day with breakfast from 7.30am.
  • Clubhouse Tea has after school care covered until 6pm with healthy snacks included.

School Holiday Camp

St John’s Clubhouse Adventures extends the same warm, supportive environment during specific weeks of the school holidays. Children can look forward to creative projects, outdoor adventures and themed activity days, all delivered by our friendly staff. Clubhouse Adventures is welcomes all children. What’s On Offer

A range of nutritious food is provided daily.

Breakfast options include cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, toast and crumpets.

Afternoon snacks include crackers, sandwiches, pasta, whole meal wraps, beans on toast, fruit and vegetable platters.

What activities are on offer?

Activities vary by session and age and include creative arts, sports, board games, puzzles, role play, outdoor play, homework support and themed holiday adventures.

What food is provided?

Healthy breakfast options are provided during Clubhouse Mornings with options such as cereal, yogurt, fruit and toast.

Clubhouse Tea offers snacks including crackers, sandwiches, pasta, wraps suit and vegetable platters.

Children attending Clubhouse Adventure holiday camps bring in a nut free packed lunch.

Strict attention is paid to dietary requirements.

How is safety ensured?

All staff are DBS-checked, trained in safeguarding and first aid and experienced in working with children of all ages. Facilities meet all school safety standards. Children are carefully supervised and procedures are followed rigorously.

Can non-St John’s pupils join Clubhouse Adventures holiday camp?

Yes! St John’s Clubhouse Adventures holiday camp welcomes children who do not attend St John’s school.

What are the costs?

Prices start at £7 for Clubhouse Mornings (breakfast care) and £13 for Clubhouse Afternoons (after school care).
